Connections for Dispatchers

(and others, of course!)

In an inherently stressful occupation we don’t always take the time to unpack our experiences at the end of the day. We haven’t always been encouraged to, either. If your day is heavy, if you need someone to know that you’re maybe not okay, or if you just need to hear that there are others out there who understand – here are some resources for you! I love that there are so many confidential resources out there for dispatch professionals and will continue to add more!

First Responder Support Network

This network of industry professionals has been a lead provider of support in helping first responders and their significant others cope with the debilitating effects of critical incident stress. We have helped more than 2,000 first responders and their significant others who have attended our trauma retreats.
