Elizabeth Abshire
Elizabeth Abshire is the author of “To the Moon and Back,” “Finding the Blessings,” “God with Ruth” from the compilation “God with us, Immanuel” and her newest book, “I Hear Voices, Devotions for Dispatchers,” which is being released March of 2025. She is a happy wife, mother and grandmother who lives in the Coastal Redwoods of Northern California with the love of her life, Martin. She hasn’t always lived this happy life; she was taught many years ago to find the blessings, even in the midst of hardship. She loves to teach and mentor people wherever she goes. She enjoys gathering her family on Sunday evenings so they can connect and share the week’s stories. She and Martin love to travel, seeing new sights and tasting new foods. If you ask her, she will tell you that she is the most inordinately blessed person she knows, and that family is her greatest treasure.
